The provision of planned and reactive maintenance to all electrical and mechanical systems to c2c assets within the c2c estate spanning from the City of London through to South East Essex.
Client: c2c
Project: Planned and Reactive Maintenance to 26 stations
Sector: Railway
Location: Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness
Date / Year: April 2018
Duration: 3 Years
The Approach
Hollywell implemented its own tailored Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) System to reflect the demands of the contract with c2c.
The Challenges
The biggest challenge that Hollywell faces is working on live and business critical systems and installations in the field, in a way that does not interfere with the client’s day-to-day activities.
The Delivery
Key to the efficient running of the contract was to ensure that the CAFM system was able to deliver on KPIs for all works. Hollywell is very careful in the set up of its systems from the start of the project to ensure this. Some of the existing c2c infrastructure is aging and needs specific care and consideration when planning key works. The nature of the contract means that the Hollywell team has to be both reactive and perceptive at all times in order to meet the complex demands from c2c and its customers.
Recent Works
Basildon Station Earthing Upgrade – March 2020
Hollywell have replaced all the earth bonding for Basildon earthing and protected it with additional containment to bring the station up to the latest NR requirements.
This the beginning or a larger project to modernise the M&E infrastructure of the entire C2C route.
New TVM Machines
Hollywell have been installing new electrical supplies for the new TVM machines across the whole C2C network. These machines will be replacing the old ticket machines and should improve waiting times for tickets at stations.
