Charlotte Stephen, Project/Contract Support Manager, has been shortlisted in the St Albans Chamber of Commerce Awards this year, for Young Employee of the Year. Charlotte has worked at Hollywell Building Services for 4 years, starting as a Helpdesk Administrator, and has recently been promoted to her new role where she runs projects for contracts such as UCS and Cardinal Wiseman School and assists with the GTR Stations and Depots contracts.
The judges were impressed by Charlotte’s maturity and ability to cope calmly in a crisis. Nominated by Cheryl Luzet from Wagada, Cheryl says “I’m so pleased that Charlotte has been selected as a finalist as I know that competition was particularly fierce this year! Charlotte is hard working and has clearly demonstrated her commitment and passion for her role and the organisation. She has made a significant impact to the business and it’s great that this has been recognised in these prestigious awards.”
The Young Employee Award category is open to individuals aged 30 and under on 20th May 2020. The key areas that the judges will be taking into consideration are the individual’s position in the business and their career progression. The judging is taking place throughout July and August and Charlotte will need to give examples of successful projects she has managed as well as testimonials from those who have worked closely with her.
The ceremony will be virtual this year, taking place on Zoom, but that’s not going to stop it being a glittering affair. The compere, Paul Rosenthal, Sales Director of Amthal Security, will be sporting his black tie, so Charlotte and her guests will need to get themselves glammed up for the occasion.
Fingers crossed for Charlotte and all the finalists on 30th September!
