This challenging Design and Build project was completed on the 29th July 2022 with an overall duration of 42 weeks. Hollywell were working under severe pressure throughout the project, carrying out extensive structural alterations and also installing a complicated services fit out. This included a kitchen installation that was valued in excess of £500K! It was safe to say the team was feeling the heat.
We managed a great team of specialist contractors who worked alongside our own engineers. We had to regularly adapt to the challenging demands of a confined work space and the existing structure.
Our works were extensive and included the below:
- Internal and external drainage alterations
- Installation of 3 new 6000l grease interceptors
- Structural alterations including bespoke steelwork
- Concrete slab repairs
- New extension
- New 1st Floor acoustic plant enclosure
- External cedar cladding
- Specialist mechanical services installation
- New mains water installation
- Electrical installation
- Controls package
- Bespoke industrial kitchen installation
- Resin floors
- Whiterock wall cladding
- Changing room and toilet fit out
- External works including tarmac, resin pathways, pod points and planting
